Which is odd since I consider the idea of having my leftover bits and pieces buried in one a major waste of space. Personally, I'd opt for being torched. Or maybe eaten by tigers.
The cemetery dates from the 1800s. The whole place is only the size of a small paddock.
I like to walk in cemeteries & read the headstones. When I die I'd like to be cremated, after any useful bits have been harvested. But walking in a cemetery I'm always a little sorry I won't have a nice bit of sculpture weighing me down, and people who'll walk like I did, and stop & ponder a moment.
I took these photos with my Lumix camera. It has a Leica lens. Laika was the first dog in space. Dogs In Space is an Australian film made in 1986. My friend Fiona played Barbara the Socialist. Now my friend Miss Simons lives two doors from the house where Dogs In Space was shot in Melbourne. I just sold the Dogs In Space R-rated soundtrack LP on eBay for $26.

I love this shot! I'm a freak for old graveyards. This particular grave looks rather old, did you happen to get a date off the marker?
Beautiful shot. I love old cemeteries.

If those who are sleeping in the ground,
Are disturbed by the throbbing sound,
Of a one-way path to Eternity."

And thanks, Polanski, for the poemski.
I like to walk through cemeteries and read the stones too. I always wonder what people died from.
