There was a great book about the Venus di Milo a year or two ago- all about her discovery, the apparent cover-up by French museum officials of a base that was discovered with her that gave her identity, the bad restoration in France that caused the statue (which is in several pieces) to be standing at the wrong angle... and so on.

Oops. I've gotten around to books again.

This very thing hapened to me one day!! I stepped out of the shower into the bathroom - full of Japanese tourists - and WOOPS my towel fell down!
