Paradise regained
I took this photo out of the window of my small apartment. Small apartment, big view. A developer wanted to put a hotel between me and this. A grass-roots protest campaign was fomented in my building. The case went to court. The Development Application has been denied. Victory. (However, I still have to walk past Poo On Sticks every day.)

It could be worse. They could have built Poo on Sticks between you and the view.
akk gkk ew oh hell indeed
Which is better? A small apartment with a big view or a big apartment with a small view? Depends on how many people you share it with, I guess.
I never thought 'Poos On Sticks' could become more unsightlier than they were. Have you noticed that they are now a matt grey? (Painted by the local business without the artist's consultation). I now miss the old 'Poos On Sticks'. I remember the days of the organic, brownish, weathering quality.
I have never seen a grey poo.
Do you happen to have any grey poupon?
It's in the door of my fridge.
That's a great view. I think I'd take a great view over a big place- what's the point of all that space if you get depressed every time you look out the window?
My last place was twice as big & looked onto a wall. I believe that's called a New York View. I spend a lot of time looking out the window. Electrical storms are sensational from here. New Year's Eve on the roof looking onto the fireworks over the Harbour & the Bridge is pretty good, too.
