They say that birds sing loudest in cemeteries, perhaps because the worms are juiciest there. I think we hear them more clearly because we are quiet. My wish is to be cremated, after any useful bits of me have been taken. But I like to walk in cemeteries. It is peaceful. Things move gently into perspective. This headstone has no engraving.

Bubenreuth cemetery
They say that birds sing loudest in cemeteries, perhaps because the worms are juiciest there. I think we hear them more clearly because we are quiet. My wish is to be cremated, after any useful bits of me have been taken. But I like to walk in cemeteries. It is peaceful. Things move gently into perspective. This headstone has no engraving.

I would like to have a headstone like that, that strangers would photograph because it was peaceful and beautiful.
Ahh...moss-green. So peaceful. I also love wandering through cemetaries. So many strands of life (and death) that one can ponder on. Names, dates, ages, kept, unkept. A mine of wonderings.
I spelled cemeteries incorrectly. I hope I can still go to heaven.
