Schmetterling

Here is Inachis io on a Buddleia alternifolia in Schatzi's mother's garden in Bubenreuth.

This is my one hundredth post. Perhaps I am emerging from my chrysalis.

Yesterday I delivered my commision to Victorian Opera. If you are in Melbourne in May 2010, perhaps you will come and hear my opera.

What a butterfly! It seems to be spying on us.

If I am in Melbourne in 2010, I will definitely listen to your opera. But, I'll probably just have to hear about it secondhand from you. :)

Happy 100th post birthday!

I love Austrailians floral and fauna

chickie: He's called a Peacock butterfly, because of that very "eye" thing.

Thanks for the happy birthday - ah, it seems only yesterday ...

malach: As do we all. This guy, however, is European as they come. He's posing here in Southern Germany, not far from Popey's birthplace. (Not Popeye's).

Happy 100th PostDay!

And congratulations on finishing the opera. I think we need to organise a Bloggy Field Trip to Australia for the Premier.

If a butterfly beats its wings in the Melbourne Opera House, does a blogger in America get tickly feet?

It is said that Australia has the perfect Opera House. The outside is in Sydney, the inside is in Melbourne and the parking is in Adelaide.

I've worked in all three, and I must concur.
