Bougainvillea spectabilis

If you look closely at this glorious bougainvillea I photographed in Altea last year, you will see a wee frog. I do not know his name.

His name is Trevor.

I was wondering where he'd gone.

I love bougainvillea. And frogs. So my day is now complete. Thank you.

I am a huge fan of bougainvillea too! Of course, I had no clue how to spell it until today, thank you.

I once had the great joy to spend an entire day on a beach in Hawaii that was deserted and filled with bougainvillea. One of the best days of my life. Thank you for reminding me!

Hey! So great to see Trevor alive and well. He always did like a scenic setting.

Colonel: I must say Trevor was very happy last time I saw him. Here is a longer view of his home.

HGTG: Trevor & I are just here to help.

sara sue: I had to look it up in the dictionary. Your Hawaiian day sounds very fine - any photos? Or was it one of those rare days you just want to keep in your mind's eye?

phoebe fay: Even more than you think - I didn't know he was there til I looked at the photos (gosh - now you know all my secrets).

joey: He'd be Frog Porridge.

anaglyph: I took the photo almost exactly a year ago. If no longer alive and well, at least Trevor lived his life in a beautiful setting.

You know, I do have photos. Unfortunately, they're hard copy only and packed away in storage. Some day ... some day.

Yes, some day. I finally bought a scanner & it is still unopened in its box two weeks later. Some day ...
