We always assume that handprints in cement represent somebody above the slab of wet cement pushing their palm down into it as a harmless, fun prank, but it's perfectly possible that they represent the suction-created prints of somebody (ok, in this case an odd somebody with two right hands) who was pulled down into the cement feet first by giant cement-dwelling man-eating slugs, leaving only this trace of their entombed body.
I took these photos with my Lumix camera. It has a Leica lens. Laika was the first dog in space. Dogs In Space is an Australian film made in 1986. My friend Fiona played Barbara the Socialist. Now my friend Miss Simons lives two doors from the house where Dogs In Space was shot in Melbourne. I just sold the Dogs In Space R-rated soundtrack LP on eBay for $26.
