Leucanthemum vulgare

I'm back in Sydney today & it is hot summer weather here. Where are my beloved grey Melbourne skies? (Not so beloved is the fact that Marlowe only has dial-up). These are oxeye daisies in Shatzi's mother's garden in Bubenreuth, taken in July last year.

Thank you David Santos, and welcome. Have a good weekend yourself - or as we say in Australia 'avagooweekend'. (I'm inspired by the fact that David's blog is in 25 languages and has 300 to 480 comments per post. One of those figures is an exaggeration.)

Ah lovely Spring-type flowers. Ah lovely Spring-type weather in Vancouver - wet and 3 degrees!

In Cissys lovely Daisy shot,

Are sixteen flowrs -- quite a lot.

Twelve petals each, is what I got;

Which probly means she loves me not.

Is the weather not weird? I went out with hewhohears and k last night and it was like a Summer night in King St... eeep.

M.Optica: I like that the flowers draw you to Ginger Stick. I hope your Spring continues to spring and brings you happier weather.

sara sue: PhoebeFay once called herself "the anti-Weegee" cause all her photos had no people in them. I'd like to try my hand at portraits, but so far (other than a head-shot session with Marlowe) I haven't.

Rev: Most peculiar. I had the ceiling fan on all night the last two nights.

Oh Joey don't trust plain arithmetic
Once a girl goes Joey it tends to stick
Not the least of your charms is your Polish schtick
All the other boys have been given the flick
I don't love you not, now kiss me quick
(I've deleted the line which ended in 'dick')
