sara sue & chickie: The sea, only a few metres away, was warm as blood, the lagoon was nipples-to-attention cold. Refreshing!
joey: no, no! The rays are placid & harmless, though quite spooky to be in the water with. Those irukandji are too too scary. Luckily they only like it warm.
colonel: Unfortunately, we have our share of jerks too, but happily not in this lovely spot.
Jervis Bay brings back good memories of a Catamaran sail we took in February last year. I have a relative who lives nearby. Maybe one day I'll get to posting my photos, too...
I took these photos with my Lumix camera. It has a Leica lens. Laika was the first dog in space. Dogs In Space is an Australian film made in 1986. My friend Fiona played Barbara the Socialist. Now my friend Miss Simons lives two doors from the house where Dogs In Space was shot in Melbourne. I just sold the Dogs In Space R-rated soundtrack LP on eBay for $26.

Odd, it looks kinda warm. Lovely shot (as usual)!
No Irukandji?
It looks a little like the Florida coastline, except it is not full of power boats and jetskis piloted by drunk, overweight idiots.
Pretty! My guess would have been that it was warm water - it looks so inviting.
