how green was my valley
A glorious Spring day in New Hope (the county, not the Star Wars movie). Nuala Fury, Edgar Allen Joe, Our Man Flynn, and Agatha Christie all share the rent on a wonderful country home where we spent some marvelous days in Pennsylvania. It is indeed sylvan. And I saw a ground hog and some tree toads. And some poison ivy. Ooo aah. Also some avifauna, to be revealed in a later post.

Where in PA was that?
Yeah, it is getting real warm in these Northen US parts
Ground hog makes good pork pattys.
I had a comment, but now I'm having a pregnancy craving for ground hog...
A.Man: Bucks County, near Frenchtown (hee hee hee ... french ...)
malach: In Sydney this morning, the rain has stopped falling. Mind you, I like the rain.
joey: Wish I'd gotten closer to the critter, so I could have gently reached out and snapped his neck, then slung him on the bar-b-que.
cuntie: Come to my Ground Hog Bar-B-Que - there's plenty for everyone. Joey will be there.
I didn't realize how vicious ground hogs were until I surprised one when I rode up close to it on my bicycle the other day and it started growling and spitting and acting all stupid. Scared the hell out of me.
mike: They should leave "acting all stupid" to us humans - we are so good at it.
I have a totally new mental picture of you now that I've read your comment to Joey. I see you with a red bandanna on your head, snapping groundhog necks left and right.
chickie: Delicious! I'm running out to buy a red bandanna right now. And a yellow banana while I'm at it.
